SIDE BY SIDE is a collaboration of nine different sheltered workshops, based around Germany, for the intellectually and physically disabled. Their mission: to combine good design with practical, everyday objects whilst also providing meaningful employment for their charges.
Commissioning the ideas & talent of bright, young designers they have developed a well resolved range of useful products that epitomise pure simplicity, a pared backed aesthetic & high quality.
Their success is to be seen in the beautifully executed result.
