BELLEVUE BOARDS

In Northern Europe the small boards are used as ‘breakfast or snack plates’. The larger size is a chopping board or perhaps for use as an anti-pasti / cheese platter…Combined with their function these boards have a very special feature: a laser engraved motif is carefully located on each board to perfectly match the beautiful swirling grain of the timber, deliberately chosen to produce a surprising result! MAPLEWOOD (VENEER) PLATE

The evocative images titled “Young Trees” (left) & “Old Trees” (right) are the decorative face of beautifully crafted ‘maple wood’ plates; traditionally known as a charger plate they replace the boring placemat while making a glam addition to any table; but also suitable as an eye catching tray and definitely good looking enough to hang.

MIKROMAN – MIKROWORLD

This amazing concept was created by Brit designer Sam Buxton. It is essentially a series of very fine mini metal sculptures, each capturing his creation ‘MikroMan’ in various activities: cycling, driving, working out, jungle trekking, on Mars, etc. - all represented in great detail. The fun of these fantastic pieces is that they start off flat (presented in a striking black package) with the user actually transforming each 2D piece into a wonderful 3D micro sculpture. Useful – not particularly, but enthralling – absolutely!

“You have to know history to understand what is going on now”.
Compact and fact filled wooden, vintage style rulers unfold to outline, within a set theme, a series of histories along the length of a 2 metres (200cm / 2000mm)!

Above, right: History by the Meter covers 2000 years of the history of mankind in succinct detail: from Jesus Christ to the internet! On the reverse are measurements, as normal.
Above, left: Technology by the Meter outlines in fact & illustrations 200 discoveries and inventions since the Industrial Revolution.
