cheese cloth & platter

Storing cheese by wrapping it in linen cloth & keep it in a cool place is a very traditional idea, albeit an almost lost one. Re-interpreted by a Black Forest based artisanal company who have combined a specially constructed cloth in 100% linen with an elegant rectangular serving platter in pure white porcelain… taking storing (by placing cheese on the platter & covering with a sheet of grease-proof paper) to serving in seconds - all perfectly presented. Also available, alternatively, with a wooden platter in oak, combined with the same linen cloth…(see thumbnail at right)
